Build your research skills
- Apply to do honors in your major
- Do research with a faculty member through the Undergraduate Apprenticeship Program
- Display your research results in the college's annual Undergraduate Research Symposium
Develop a secondary area of expertise through a minor
Master another language
- Take advanced language courses at the 300 and 400 level
- Study a critical, less-commonly-taught language
Get a head start on a graduate degree
- Look into an accelerated master's program
- Take courses for graduate reserve credit
Take advantage of career preparation opportunities
- Get on-the-job experience through an internship
- Pursue a career-focused minor
- Take a career preparation course such as UNIV 400 or COMM 480
- Attend the annual Career Fair or other events sponsored by Career Services
