Rachel Lindsey, M.A., M.Ed., is a career education specialist and student affairs professional. She is an alumna from George Mason University, with two degrees in professional writing and editing from CHSS, along with a degree in Counseling and Human Development. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Career Education in George Mason University’s Career Services. In her previous work, Rachel worked as a victim advocate, specializing in intimate partner violence prevention and response.
Rachel is a student-centered higher education and career development professional, passionate about career counseling and development, and higher education. Career counseling, advocacy, academic advising, recruitment and training, and staff development are all part of her 10+ years of experience in higher education and human services. Her work also includes extensive experience serving multinational undergraduate and graduate students, veterans, and entry level and mid-career professionals with academic advising and job search and execution needs.
