LinkUp: An Alumni & Student Mentoring Event

Navigating Career Challenges – A Holistic Approach

Monday, March 16, 2026 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM EDT
Johnson Center, Bistro

CHSS undergrads, you are invited to LinkUp!

What does it really take to navigate career challenges—and build a career that is both successful and sustainable?

Join us for LinkUp, an alumni-student mentoring event designed to give you honest, practical insight into the realities of professional life. This spring’s panel, “Navigating Career Challenges: A Holistic Approach,” will explore common hurdles such as career pivots, workplace transitions, leadership growth, and overcoming setbacks.

We’ll also discuss topics that aren’t always openly addressed—like navigating the workplace as a neurodivergent professional, managing social anxiety, handling stress, and protecting your mental wellbeing while pursuing ambitious goals.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Hear real stories from alumni about challenges they’ve faced—and how they moved through them
  • Gain practical strategies for resilience, self-advocacy, and professional growth
  • Ask questions in a supportive, candid environment
  • Build meaningful connections during the networking portion of the evening

Whether you’re feeling confident about your next steps or uncertain about what lies ahead, this conversation is designed to equip you with tools, perspective, and encouragement.
