Supports doctoral and master’s students in professional effectiveness and increases the ability to explore and prepare for future careers. Addresses strategies for applying research methods, presenting research to broad audiences, and developing professional networks. Engages students in the construction of a public research statement and development of a professional research portfolio. Offered by Humanities & Social Sciences. May not be repeated for credit.
Recommended Prerequisite: 12 credits in a CHSS graduate program or permission of instructor.
Recommended Corequisite: CHSS 790
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy or Graduate.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
