Consider the Potential Savings of Study Abroad

Many college students never seriously consider a study abroad experience because they believe the costs to be outside of their educational budget.  Students should consider that a higher education in some countries is very inexpensive, and sometimes free for noncitizens.  The following article from the US News and World Report provides insight on affordable destinations and even scholarships for students to help with study abroad expenses.

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences encourages all students to consider study abroad experiences to compliment the global learning curriculum.  Students should meet with staff from the Center for Global Education in the Johnson Center to help explore and plan study abroad options.
