Amanda Torres received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Spanish with a minor in French from the University of South Carolina, in Columbia, South Carolina and her Masters of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University, in Miami, Florida. She has extensive experience in Student Affairs within the fields of Residence Life, Student Conduct, Academic Integrity, and Title IX. Amanda is currently pursuing a PhD in Education, with a specialization in Higher Education at George Mason University. Her research interests include Sociology of Higher Education and the impact of social, cultural, and family capital on college choice and the college experiences of Hispanic/Latino students.
